I have played this one and I must say I enjoy it though I am not terribly great at it myself. The demo lets you play online and off with all features for three days, which is quite neat... me thinks I will be buying this one. It would be cool if I saw other zoners on there... who knows maybe there are? (I've only played one online game so far anyway)

Hi James, I am one of the testers of Galaxy Ranger. We all took quite some time to get the hang of that game. There are lots of things to remember and handle at the same time. What is your login ID there? My ID is ranger. Like to play with you online.

the issue I have with the game is the lag. I had a cruiser destroyed, but I was informed that it was destroyed ten seconds before it actually happened.
maybe it's jus tme, but.. meh... I dunno

Hi Liam, I am not sure, but could it be your enemy destroyed more than one cruiser? You did not read the message when your first cruiser was destroyed. At the time when you read it, your enemy destroyed another cruiser.

Hey. To whomever's interested my ID is 'jdietz' for Galaxy Ranger and Super Tennis, though I can't play GR at the moment as I think the demo's gone, pity too because I wanted to try playing online more to see if lag was an issue for me and what not, should've waited until the weekend... sigh.

Money's sort of tight right now, but.. I'm gonna be buying it as soon as I can. pesky financial stuff.

That last post was a lie... I purchased the game so I had to change my id, it is now mrbig, so whoever wants to feel better about themselves by severely kicking my *ahem* can do so.

Sounds like a nifty game, I did hear about it as i'm on the little newsletter doohickey.

This game is real confusing for beginners. I took quite some time to remember the strengths of each different objects and which weapons to use for which object. Once you are familiarised, you will enjoy. Stressful and challenging game.

My problem with this game is that it assumes I have my whole life to spend on a game. I don't. I want either an involved game like iclod (www.iclod.com) or utopia or something that I can play for a while and then go do something else, or a quick audio game of the type l-works (makers of troopanum? Think so.) usually produces. Galaxy Ranger wants all of my attention and skill and mind for a large period of time, and I can't afford that. All of my extended consintration bouts are needed to get me through high school.

you can always save your games, and it can be fun for shortish periods too though I agree it is rather longwinded, not nearly so much as Super Tennis is, and that can get quite boring.

True, but I find if I save a game of ranger when I come back I forget what on earth my stratagy was and where everything is and what's going on. Then I lose. What would be nice is a notes key in that game, so that you could enter notes for yourself like "don't forget about tank 3!" that you could go back and look at to jog your memory with after restoring a game. Sure you could use notepad, accept that you have jaws unloaded while playing.

I wish there was a demo of Onlien Super Tennis, like there is with All In Play. I'd liek to try it out online with ap artner before I go and buy it though it's not too expensive.
